Outreach
As a world-recognized pedagogue of dance, Zvi Gotheiner runs dance class at City Center Studios, one of New York City's most popular dance classes for pre-professional and professional dancers. He has taught at institutions such as the Julliard School, Princeton University, ImPulsTanz and for companies including Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Rosas (Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker), the Cullberg Ballet and countless others.
The experienced artists of ZviDance excel at performing a wide variety of residency and community outreach activities across the US and abroad. ZviDance works with children, students and communities.
Activities
- Master Classes in ZviDance repertory, modern and ballet technique are offered at the beginning, intermediate and advance levels for pre-professional, professional and recreational dancers;
- ZviDance lecture-demonstrations are suitable for all ages (K-12, post-secondary and adult) and include demonstration of repertory and/or elements of production;
- ZviDance workshops focus on a variety of topics that include creativity, injury prevention and introduction into the art of dance;
- Post-show discussions provide audience members an opportunity to ask questions about ZviDance and its repertory;
- Zvi Gotheiner's dance technique class at City Center Studios for pre-professional and professional dancers provides participants a unique opportunity to experience Mr. Gotheiner's teaching method.
