The Amber Room
A site-specific dance theater Work inspired by the mysterious disappearance of what was regarded as the Eighth Wonder of the Modern world. This work uses the story from World War II to explore ongoing issues such as the creation and ownership of art and the body as an art object.
Music: An original score by Scott Killian and a period music from Germany and Russia.

Checkpoint
In this ensemble piece for eight dancers the choreographer draws on his own immigrant experience to explore the idea of communities in perpetual transit, a kind of urban nomadism where one is never quite here nor there.

Dust
Commissioned by Central Park's SummerStage as part of Israel's 50th anniversary celebration in New York, this momentous work, created in collaboration with Israeli singer/dancer Lea Avraham, examines the profound influence of Yemenite culture on the new Israeli identity, through its beautiful, but quickly fading traditions.

Duets To Brazilian-Indian Music
These Six duets set to the astonishing compositions of Marlui Miranda feature curated pairings of some of New York's most talented dancers, exploring the spatial dynamics of human relationships. They may be performed individually or as a suite.

Oh, Moon of Alabama
Originally set to four of Kurt Weill's most delightfully decadent songs, this work explores pleasure, addiction, and obsession. Commissioned by The Joyce Theater for the 1997 Altogether Different Series, three additional songs were choreographed and premiered for the June 1998 NYC season at The Kitchen.
